How it works

One match.
A deliberate route.

Hopzen is being developed to compare your usual ISP path with available Dubai relay options, then route only the active CS2 match destination if you choose a candidate.

Start with the destination

Keep the route decision
on the match.

The planned client first identifies the destination used by your active CS2 match. That specific destination becomes the boundary for any route change. It is not a tunnel for your whole device.

A ROUTE RULE IN THREE CHECKS

Three checks before
a route changes.

Identify the match server.

Locate the destination for the active CS2 match. That server address defines the boundary for a route rule.

SCOPE / MATCH DESTINATION

Measure the candidates.

Compare available Dubai relays with your ISP baseline. Review round-trip time and packet timing before choosing.

MEASURE / BASELINE + RELAY

Apply one destination rule.

If you choose a relay, its route is designed for the active match server alone. Disconnect restoration is being validated before beta.

Compare the path, not the promise

A relay is an option.
The route decides.

A relay adds another network segment. Depending on your ISP, peering, congestion, and time of day, it can be better, worse, or much the same as the direct route. There is no guaranteed ping improvement.

When the match ends

The route needs
a clear way back.

On disconnect, the selected match-specific rule is intended to be removed so the destination returns to your normal ISP route. Route switching, unexpected exits, and recovery all need to pass validation before the beta is ready.
